For football mad youngsters looking to keep busy during the holidays, Manchester United Soccer Schools provides the ultimate experience.

The action packed two-day Player Development Courses and summer Residential courses at Manchester United Soccer Schools, offers boys and girls aged between six to 18 years old, an experience of a lifetime with the world’s best known football club.

Young footballers can ‘Learn to Play the United Way’ at one of 55 Player Development Courses throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland. The courses kicked off in April 2011 and run until August 2011.

The Residential courses, which begin in July and run throughout the summer, until the end of August, provide a unique opportunity for children to take part in a fun filled week of football. Based on Manchester United’s Academy programme, the football sessions are delivered in a way that young players of all abilities will enjoy.

Equally as important, children also learn vital ‘Life Lessons’ relating to attitude, behaviour, communication, discipline, enthusiasm, fair play and the benefits of maintaining a healthy lifestyle which will help them both on and off the pitch.

At a cost of £69.95, the two-day Player Development Course will make the perfect gift for young footballers this Christmas. The package includes expert training from UEFA qualified coaches from Manchester United Soccer Schools, use of state of the art training equipment and a player diary to help monitor progress and ongoing development.

The Residential courses are priced between £499.95 and £599.95, and provide the experience of a lifetime for any passionate young footballer. The package includes expert training from UEFA qualified coaches, use of state of the art training equipment, a full Manchester United Soccer Schools Nike training kit, a behind the scenes tour and closing ceremony at Old Trafford and a player book to help monitor progress and ongoing development.

From Monday 6th June, anyone booking on a Residential course at Denstone, Staffordshire, for the five-day course from 14th – 19th August, will receive a £50 voucher to use at the Manchester United Megastore at Old Trafford.

The final day of the course includes a trip to Old Trafford for the closing ceremony, and a behind the scenes stadium tour. The £50 voucher will be redeemable on this day and is non-transferable.
