Useful hints and tips
Ø Mix two tsps of Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard with a tbsp of good quality mayonnaise, three tbsp of crème fraiche or natural yoghurt and a tsp of chopped chives. Serve as a dip for crisps and crudités or serve as a condiment with sausages, burgers and chicken.
Ø Make deliciously moreish speedy homemade burgers, add a tbsp of Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard to your finely chopped or minced beef, grate in one onion, mix in an egg and a handful of breadcrumbs, season and form into burger shaped balls.
Ø Make a delicious, quick and easy mustard and honey marinade for chicken. Mix 1 tbsp of Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard to 4 tbsp of clear honey, add a squeeze of lemon juice and season to taste. Leave to marinade for 30 minutes before cooking.
Ø If your Grey Poupon Mustard jar is nearly empty add 3 tbsps of extra virgin olive oil, ½ tbsp of lemon juice, ½ tsp of runny honey, a pinch of salt and black pepper to the jar, screw the lid back on tightly and shake until all the ingredients are combined. Add more lemon/oil/sugar to taste and serve drizzled over a fresh salad or vegetables.
