If there was nothing wrong in the world …

George Bernard Shaw, the Irish dramatist, essayist and critic told us “If there were nothing wrong in the world, there wouldn’t be anything for us to do”.

I have always had a keen interest in contributing to the world in some way.  For me, that meant working in local,  regional, national and international charities for 20 years or so.

There is so much wrong in the world regarding mothers.  As communities break down for a whole host of reasons and recession cuts take hold, there are real gaps in support for mums out there.  It cannot be right that too many mums suffer with post-natal depression and other mental health issues often without diagnosis never mind proper help.  Why are there battles between yummy mummies and slummy mummies when the reality is that most of us are trying out very best with all the challenges of parenthood?

This website is my attempt to do something to help and I hope other mums will get involved too.  I am always happy to hear from potential guest bloggers and contributors.  You can make a comment or email me on katypaul@live.co.uk
